during
-
In addition to a deep dive into symptoms and a thorough physical exam, Dr. Singla reviews nutrition patterns, exercise, sleep, stress, emotional/self-regulation abilities, and social support.
-
A "Game Plan" is crafted after discussion of treatment goals. This includes conventional and complementary therapies such as medications, diet modification, supplements if needed, sleep hygiene, mind-body strategies such as breathwork and guided-imagery, and exercise/therapy suggestions.

Labs are collected in the office using pain reduction techniques including numbing cream, ice, the Buzzy Bee, breathing techniques, and aromatherapy.
-
Orders for appropriate imaging, medications, and referrals are placed.
-
Auricular acupressure is applied as indicated (if desired).
after

During the follow-up appointment (about 1-2 weeks after the initial visit), Dr. Singla communicates with you regarding you/your child's results and discusses any changes to the "Game Plan." This follow-up appointment can be in-person or virtual.
expect
-
Please block 2 hours of your time for the initial visit, and 30 minutes for the follow up visit to discuss your results. For future follow-up visits, (typically every 3-6 months) please block 1 hour of time.
-
If possible, bring your medications (including herbs and supplements) or at least a list/picture of each including the name, dose, and frequency you take it.
-
Don't forget to bring your questions, concerns, and goals for the visit!
*Adults must have an adult rheumatologist managing their autoimmune condition. Dr. Singla will focus on the integrative evaluation & management only.
