Prior to your arrival, Dr. Singla thoroughly reviews records from your child's primary care provider/pediatrician and subspecialist(s).
during
-
In addition to a review of their diagnosis, clinical course, and medications, Dr. Singla takes a deep dive into current symptoms and performs a thorough physical exam. She also reviews your child's nutrition patterns, exercise, sleep, stress, emotional/self-regulation abilities, and social support.

A "Game Plan" is crafted after discussion of treatment goals. This includes conventional and complementary therapies such as adjustment of current medications, diet modification, supplements if needed, sleep hygiene, mind-body strategies such as breathwork and guided-imagery, and exercise/therapy suggestions.

Labs are collected in the office using pain reduction techniques including numbing cream, ice, the Buzzy Bee, breathing techniques, and aromatherapy.
-
Orders for appropriate imaging, medications, and referrals are placed.
-
Auricular acupressure is applied as indicated (if desired).

-
Dr. Singla also communicates your child's diagnosis and plan of care with their primary care provider and specialist(s).
